If i'm not mistaking isn't Bunta Takumi's father? And isn't the AE 86 their car? And when did WRX STI come out with a errr TypeR? None the less it will be worth the wait if it arrives in teh US or can be purchased at a reasonable price.

The Initial D version of Imprezza had been out quite sometime now. As i know, it's only available in Japan and maybe in Hong Kong. Yes, Toyota Trueno AE86 have been their car until Bunta decide to get a new car for his son. That's all in the coming episode on its anime series. However the animated version will be very slow... much much slower than the comic that is.

Subaru had been making hot JDM WRX for a very long time now.. it was only very recently that they exported some to the States. Even so, the WRX you guys are getting is still different from the JDM (eg 2.0 vs 2.2 engines)

The chassis code for the original WRX was the GC8. The GC8 WRX was originally released only in 4 door sedan form... when they released a coupe version, they called it the TypeR coupe, strange that Honda didn't complain but it did happen.

i understand your a realtive newcomer in posting but you don't have to post the same request/question in several threads....you have a nice request thread in the misc. section already;) unless yor unwilling to wait for the shop to get their's, good luck with finding them. the red one might be slightly easier as it was less popular

Hi there

Nope, the type RA and Type R refers to different things. Let me explain.

The Type R refers to the 2 door coupe, type RA refers to the lightweight competition ready version of the WRX (RA= Race Application). The RA cars are stripped of most comfort stuff such as air-con, ABS etc. The Type R coupe still has them I think.

Sorry, I am not familar with GT2... dun have a PS :p

Cheers
