Ok first of all, i need some help on my MR-015 conversion from scratch.

This is what I have so far!
-PN Racing Modified Motor Mount
-MR-02 Clear Chassis
-PN Racing MR-02 KingPins
-Alloy Tie bar
-PN-Racing MR-015 Conversion H-plate

Here are my questions
-Does the Overland servo saver work for the MR-02? If not, then where can I buy a mr-02 servo saver, I can't seem to find one.
-What other parts do I need for my MR-015, and where can I get them.
-Also, is there suppose to be a spacer between the Chassi and the H-plate? 'Cos i had to fabricate one, or else my h-plate would be too weak.

I have all the parts i have assembled up. Thanks for all the Help!

Best Regards,

Mike C.

there are detailed threads regarding what's needed for 015 conversions so do a search rather than reposting all the info.

1. no it won't work
2. do search
3. yes there is

Thanks Arch, but I'm still wondering where I can get the servo saver.

Kyosho has temporarily halted production of it's MR02 servo savers. So I'd guess you'll have to wait.

The front suspension part set #MZ203 is the only thing holding me up right now. Do you know why Kyosho halted production in the 02 parts? Maybe some revision or something.

A fellow racer in Singapore told me that he himself tried ordering direct from Kyosho Japan but Kyosho replied with saying that the production is halted. How long I do not know, maybe never...:(

My guess why they're doing this is the recent trend of people converting rather than buying new a MR02 as a whole. Surely it's cheaper to convert no? This is the only reason I see why Kyosho is halting their production, otherwise I don't see why they should stop producing them.

I sure hope they revise the servo saver. I find that the servo saver springs on my both my cars are too stiff for my liking, and it required a bit of force to activate the servo savers. This was the last thing that I wanted after hearing several cases of broken front suspension arms (that "C" shaped thing).
I had to soften the springs a bit, until the servo saver's resistance was more like the F1, and I prefer it much better this way.

That seems like it may hurt sales to me, why buy an 02 if you can not get spares to fix the broken parts. My experiance with any RC car Kyosho or otherwise is the front end takes alot of hits. Not a question of "if", but "when and how bad" you break something.
Just my .02 cents.

The in car electronics are already high enough as it is to begain with.

You have a point there too. The only thing we could do now is wait.

Quick question......

Do I use the 02 or 01 ball diff when converting to 015?

Thanks in advance!

If you use the 01 pod you use the 01 diff with it.

an interesting question...can you forego the whole 01 pod/diff and use the 02nsx pod/diff?

Didnt have much time but i just recieved my nsx mr-o2 rm.I tried a nsx body that fit my mr-o1.It fit right on mr-o2 chassis.Have to use mr-02 rims.Didnt change front plate.I think alot of mr-01 wide bodies might fit with mr-02 rims.Just a guess right now.

Good to hear that. Hmm....I hope that the FC3S body will fit a MR-02rm chassis.
