GPM Racing makes the 1/16 diff. in titanium for the MR-02 but I can only find the 1/8 on D1nba11. com. Anywhere else I can buy this? preferably in Black?

You can pick up the 1/16 GPM diff from www.m They have them in stock and they are cheap :)

(and out of curtisy, I did check mini-zracer.com's shop first to make sure they didn't stock it as well :))

Yeah, the store mentioned above have them, but not in a black color. Silver or blue is available.

This is true but I'm not sure if I've ever seen a part number for a "black" GPM ball diff in the 1/16. I *think* they have a "gun metal grey" one but again, not sure if they have black or not. Send an e-mail to info@m and see if they even have a part number for it and I'm sure he could get one for you if he does :)

besides the amount of bearings is there more performance out of a 1/16 diff than a 1/8

just smoother LSD action i would imagine. i'm waiting for my guy to re-stock these at the end of the month then i'm gonna order them.

i've ordered this diff and should have it soon.

the claim is that it is smoother than other diffs due to the increased amt of balls. we'll see. i just want a ball diff for my 02

i think that is the best feeling in the world when you come to a mailman with a box for you with all of your mini-z parts..

Yeah, but then you look at the tiny little box and say "That's over $100 of stuff? "

i love mini-z cause you can typically buy a bunch of stuff and its not going to cost you too much.
i just remember my Losi XX-T from back-in-the-day and it seemed like EVERYTHING for that costed an arm and a leg.
