View Full Version : Which of this two oils is better?

Hi,

I wanted to check with you guys if someone had any experience with trinity oils, I have found this two, but dont know which is better?

The purple royal oil is way too light IMO. The gold oil is ok, but it felt a tiny bit gritty to me. I use Niftech synthetic oil and it is quite slick.

I have to agree with fraz, the Royal Oil is thin. On most mini-z bearings it works well, the only bearings I haven't oiled are my MZR Dry Bearings. Most thicker oils in my opinion picks up too much trash, the thinner oil goes in and works like it's suppose to. The thick stuff can cause the balls inside to slide instead of roll like the bearing is designed to do, if the balls slide you may as well be running bushings instead of bearings.
