I saw some 1100MAh, AA size Li-ion cells today at an electrical hardware shop.
i am thinking of getting some and mount them on my OL, with hummer body.
now looking for ideas on how i can mount 2 pcs of AA cells on an OL,~ does anyone have good way of doing so?

the only thing i can think of would be something like this (http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.strikalite.co.uk/Admin/product_pics/387.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.strikalite.co.uk/prodcat_type/9/AA/0/Battery_Holders.html&h=154&w=170&sz=3&tbnid=CHD7JGXMJ44J:&tbnh=85&tbnw=93&start=1&prev=/images%3Fq%3DAA%2Bbatery%2Bholders%26hl%3Den%26lr% 3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26safe%3Doff) and then run wires to your board

Would that fry thr fets though?

As long as the voltage is the same he won't fry the FETS. The stock PCB can take a slight voltage increase, but not much.

the PCB has a main power stay of 6v, says it right on the main resistor on the top of your PCB (for OL and MMT) or bottom for racers.

i don't think the 7.4 V really matters~ as long as u don't use crazy motors.

high voltage + super large current will surely fry FETs.
mine has a 2 x 3 FET upgrade, i am planning to use X speed, bb case with neo mag, 9T pinion, i'm sure that setup won't fry my FETs~~

a tomic mods have similar upgrades for monsters~~

I think you have the fets covered like a Jimmy Hat :D I recently did a 6-cell mod to a completely stock PCB with no fet upgrades or turbo and i have had no problems whatsoever (other than running out of batteries) :D
