You can get Ozite if you want. It is the best but it is very expensive. Calandra Racing Concepts is the exclusive dealer if you really want some and they can be reached at http://www.teamcrc.com/

A great alternative that is cheap and works good is this thin grey indoor/outdoor carpet we have used from Home Depot. It comes in green too and you will usually see them on the racks together. The rolls are 6 feet wide and is sold in the linear foot for ~$2/ft. So for two bucks you get a piece 1x6 feet and you can easily see how quickly you could cover an area.

Honestly, most of us run RCP track now because it is the best, most consistent traction. It is car safe and you can reconfigure it in so many ways so you'll never get bored with your layouts. You can buy RCP here at the store and you can check them out at http://www.rcp-tracks.com/
