View Full Version : Dust Devil (Iwaver 04 Romp)

2005.05.16, 07:48 AM
Hey, I think this is my first post here, not sure, I may have posted before, but anyways, I see some familiar faces that might reconize me from bitPimps, so what's up guys.

I thought you guys might dig my most recent vid, that I made a couple weeks ago.

It's an Iwaver 04, with the Iwaver Xspeed motor, Iwaver bearing set, some $5 batteries from the same place ;) , and some GPM shock towers for the Overland. I'm very satisfied with the speed and fun factor for now, in the future I'm mostly gonna focus on durability, and looks.

Do you race around here any where?

I used to go out to SRS every Tuesday night, but that was years ago, and I don't have any 1/10th scale cars anymore. This Iwaver is my first venture outside my apartment in years. Been playing with micros to keep my RC urges under control.

I've raced at SRS on both of their offroad and on road tracks. I like that they use transponders there as well as at RC Sports mania's tracks. I've racin at Hobbytown in Gilbert lately though with an occassional visit at the Ahwatukee store. I've stopped though for awhile to spend more time around the house with the family. I'm trying to get my friend into mini-z so that we can race here at my house. I want to get a track for my cars and i'm building a track for my OL's (although it's still in the design stages). How do like your 04? I've been wanting to get one. What part of town do you live in? I'm in Phoenix near 19th and Camelback. I've been wanting to find people around here who would want to have a mini-z GTG day.

Cool vid, I wish my yard was that flat and not so much grass. The only thing I can run in my yard is my clod. I've got good drifts on the floors in my house though.
