I'm now planning to make a stock motor specially designed for AD Band ESC. There is only 1 motor for AD: Atomic AD stock. Anyone try that before? What's your comment?

Chaser RC's 44turns hand wounding motor also good for AD Band, any comment?

This time, I'm now thinking about: Should I make this motor by hand wounding? or still machine wounding?

I don't know much spec on Atomic's AD band motor, its not really a stock motor its very fast. Smooth power band, loads of torque, PCB doesn't get warm after use. I like mine alot and would only run Atomic motors...

I think the ad stock motor hauls butt. What i want to know is you guys that run it, what size track do you run on? My track(rcp) is about 10-11 tiles long by 8 tiles wide. That motor is way to fast for my track in my opinion. Im thinking you guys are running on bigger tracks, or more open high speed tracks???

pchan0 and myself run on a track that is about 30 feet long and about 14 feet deep (could be slightly off with those dimensions, but that's pretty close.) I'm pretty sure he is able to get it up to full speed down the back straight (full length of the track). And yes, they are very fast...

Thanks, that would explain it. My tracks way to small. Like the motor tho. I put in an atomic stock today, in my ad band chassis. Runs well on my track.
