View Full Version : Guess who got some Mini-Z's?!?!
Hey guys!
Thought I'd show off my two new toys! Got a 2005 Mustang GT and a McLaren Gulf GTR!
The Mustang has been setup with a Reflex Racing Performance diff and an Atomic Dampner plate system - thanks for the hook up Joe!!
Just thought I'd share!! See you all at the track sooner or later!

Allright man time to rumble. The Gulf,s my fav!!!
very nice to see that you are getting some mini-zs.don't really like mustangs but love the golf.see you at the track :D
You know, its funny, I thought I was not going to like the Mustang body too, but the more I have the more I like it. Definitely seems a bit longer than normal, but I think its the lines on the car that are deceiving me.
Definitely cannot wait to get the cars to the track to see what they can do. Unfortunately, this Friday is out for me - its my wife's birthday. Although, CJTamu had a great idea - wrap one of the cars up and give it to her for a birthday present and tell her that I'm taking her out to race it Friday night. :D
I'd definitely be living UNDER the dog house!!

Hey Zrc!
No, actually, I like the MM setup as well as the way the Gulf looked. Joe did mention his opinion about the McLaren, but since there are not many MM readysets to choose from and the Enzo is totally non-existent in the market, I personally thought the Gulf look good enough to race. LOL!!
I was thinking that I may make the McLaren my Open class car, but I'm not sure yet. Been hearing different things - will just have to at least get some races under my belt with both before I make a decision.

An mcl as an open class car? err..........
where did you find the mclaren? I cant seem to find one
Funny thing is that I had posted on rctech.net in their wanted section that I was looking. A member of rctech.net from Canada sent me a PM telling me of what he had - first he told me about a RM setup and then when I told him I was after a MM setup he told me about the McLaren. Negotiated a price and got it shipped out!
Actually, I almost bidded or bought the one that was on e-Bay - it was being posted by the other Japanese shop - not D******. But the S&H was an arm and a leg! Come to find out, the guy I bought the car from in Canada bought this McLaren from there! So I got hooked up with the readyset, a set of rechargeable batteries (NIP) and a second set of AM crystals (NIP)!!
Take out a wanted add on some of the boards and see what happens - also look for that one on e-Bay - never know!
Good luck with the search!

Well, I thought about it, but may stick with the Mustang being an open - just not sure yet. If you disagree or have suggestions, feel free to inject. I like opinions as long as they don't become commands. ;)
