i'm hoping to change the track around before this gtg or more likely that morning. if you guys have any suggestions in terms of setup, please let me know. this is basically what we have to work with

you can also use rcp track builder yourself.... http://rcptrackbuilder.com

i'd like to try banked turn again. i have not had those in a long time and after seeing the past pn challenge track use them, i'm getting the itch to do so again. this is something we should definately do at the next dc/pa gtg. that and get to an overland/f1 heat :p

ccson emailed me to say he just aquired an f1 ;) the means all of now have racers, overlands and f1's :D now we just have to make sure we get some heats in for each.

how is this date looking for you chuckyluv?

be sure to check out the new sister site www.epoch1-43.com as well ;)

still don't have the dc site up yet :( imx made some vinyl lettering for us though. if you don't have one already let me know as i have extra's and imx will be making better ones soon.

What's up, arch2b?

A late morning-early afternoon start would work for me.
I would like to finish around 2 pm if possible but I am flexible.

After some serious shop work from my LHS (aligning the servo and loosening the power switch), the F1 is ready to go. :D I plan to install an X-speed, bearings and high grip tires. I could use an 8 or 9 tooth pinion gear, though. ;)

The MR-02 and Overland are looking good. The MR-01 is rapidly getting outdated, though. I guess I will keep that one for a beater or practice car.

See you on Saturday.

I hate missing the gtg but will try to run out there. TNB gave me some info on mini z's action in vegas and there is atleast a lhs that possible has a track. sorry to have missed you this weekend chucky. i'm sure your having much more fun though ;)

we actually got a lot of races in today! something like 3 racer heats, 1 overland heat and 2 f1 heats.

as usual, ccson spanked me in each race. while the numbers were not as high as last time he got me by nearly 20 laps one race

little b is actually getting much better as well. his high for the day was 20 laps!!! i'm sure a few were just him crossing back and forth over the loop but still a big gain over last time. he actually practiced for 3 more heats after ccson left.

ccson is really getting his cars dialed in. must be the personal track time he has available ;) his nsx was keeping up with my 2x2 mclaren and passing me every time i hit a corner or was taken out by little b.

ccson even did very well with his new ride, an orange mclaren ;) i forgot to tell him i changed the stock front suspension and it has atleast a 1 deg. toe in tie rod. this would explain the difference in handling from his other 02 mm nsx.

i need to pick a date for the next gtg, and hopefully ccson can get his buddy to join us :p hopefully chuchky will be in town as well.

thanks for amking the trip out here ccson. it was a pleasure as always :D

arch2b,

I enjoyed myself Saturday. Little B is becoming a force. :p

I am excited about the performance of the McLaren and NSX. :D

Overland racing really adds different dimensions (flipping, tumbling, etc.).

F1 racing is going to take some getting used to.

Let me know about the next GTG and I will invite one of my boys.

Looking forward to next time.

yeah, overlands are indeed very entertaining. especially when you end up flipping off track :D

sorry for litterally knocking hte diff out of your nsx. i've never seen that happen before  for those that were not there, we obviously had a collison and i hit his right rear tire which litterally poped his rear axel out of his car.

i also glued down the mustang tires finally. i really got tired of having to put them back on every few laps

i also gave little b some harder tires as they stay on better too. now i just have to soften them up a tad so that he isn't riding on ice. the stock tires have not come off since though so it's the right choice for him... just need a bit more traction out of them.

ccson, if you need the suspension limiters in the front i removed from the mclaren chassis, let me know.
