I bought a mini-x for christmas. I have been searching for instructions on how to rewire (add) two additional AAA batteries to the car. Does anyone know where I can find more information about this ?

Sorry I don't know much about the batteries on these cars but I was looking into it as well. Can you tell me what you think of the car pros and cons. Thanks

Fluffy

I just received my car yesterday. So I haven't tried it out yet. So far, the only reason I wanted it was because of the 4wd and the ability to run 6 cells.

Unfortunately, I also noticed that the seller did not send me the servos nor the crystals for the radio, so it will be a while before I can actually run it. When it's up and running, I'll post some more information.

My mistake, the radio crystals was in the car package not the radio box. The servo was already installed in the car. Once I figure out how to mount the batteries, I will post some information here.

The mini-x came with 5 cells prewired. However, I had to unwire the batteries to charge them. Does anyone know how to rig the mini-x to accomodate 5 loose (ie: not prewired together) AAA cells ?

You can run 4 loose sells w/ the battery spring set, I'll check to see if we have any; I'm not sure if it's possible to add a 6th cell to the 5-cell pack, but we used to stock 6-cell packs and can get more in if you're interested. Let us know if there's any other Mini-X stuff you need:

Thanks! :)

What is the range of the mini-x transmitter ? My car is only responsive if the transmitter is within 3 meters of the car. Is this normal ?

PM's are not turned on on this site. You will need to click on the person's name and send them an e-mail.
