Does anyone know of anyone making a 1:32 chassis? I know CRT use to make one and was to have a new one after the first of the year, but no word on it.

Or does anyone have a CRT that they would like to sell :)

I noticed the F1 car while looking thru the site. You say you have ordered from them before. How was the transaction with them. I have emailed them,I am assuming they have someone who speaks English as German is Greek to me!!

Arch2b, What equipment are you needing. I have access to a 3 access CNC and laser CNC for cutting carbon fiber. You buy the material and I will supply the CNC time. :)

All I need is a scale drawing of what it looks like and how thick of carbon to use.

more important than the cf chassis plate is the front suspension/steering. if i could get a micro servo holder/mr02 king pin bracket made, the existing chassis plate would take on a whole new feel and performance.

one idea could also be to incorporate the knuckle holder and micro servo brace into the top cf plate ;) i would have to verify the heights but it could be an option.

My dad has a 5 axis laser and can cut almost anything. I will ask him if it will cut CarbonFiber.

Nice site... Thanks Herman.

Does anyone have a 1:32 that they can trace and send to me? I took a look at rc-tiger, are there any photos of the chassis? I want to buy/build something with a pan type chassis.

Great galley arch2b.

Wouldn't want to sell it would ya :D

I was thinking of a pan chassis holding 6 1/3 AA or AAA's or a lipo pack. Something like the PRO27 or AV03. Do you think its possible? :-)

i think i found another good chassis to modify!

i happened to be in toysrus looking for a quick b-day gift for my son and came across some new jada rc's. they have something called 'chub city' for little kids which i thought was cute so i bought one for my youngest son and they had plastic 'big time muscle' rc's as well. both look like dead on 1:32 scale as well. these are only $10 btw.

these run on 27mhz and have 4 channels to choose from. the interesting thing is you can select from all for on each car rather than having to buy a car with a preselected channel.

the motor looks just like the epoch motor. very similar gearing i think.

the steering is much like a bit car (non propo). the interesting thing however is the steering parts look much more complex and could easily be adapted i think for higher quality steering if not just swaped out.

take a look at some of the pictures i took. sorry for them being so dark, it's past 11pm already.

let me know what you guys think? i want to get some opinions before i start hacking

Looks like it would be a fun project ;) Does it have a differential, or is it locked... its hard to tell from the images. Obviously the track width would be too narrow to use a Mini-Z diff... But there may be possibility to use parts of a ball diff depending on the gearing. It would deffinitely be a candidate for a Mini-Z board :D

Any suspension? Is there a pot on the servo gearbox? Spot to plug one in? More of a servo replacement candidate?

Otherwise looks good, I like the body detailing, looks good from the pics.
