I'm assuming you've already tanked out the drivetrain so it can handle all this extra abuse. ;) :D

Every time I have run Li-Ion on a Mini-Z PCB, it has caused the steering to start to glitch. If you can wire the board to run on one cell, and the motor to run on both you may be better off. Once the steering starts to glitch, it will glitch regardless if you are running 7.2v or 4.8v. I think that 7.2v is too much for the board to handle. I had been using a Nelly Dlx with Li-Ions on one of my 02's but I fried one of the FETs on it while reconnecting one of the wires with the batties in. The Nelly Dlx will feed the main PCB 5v while using 7.2v for the motor.

I buy my Li-Ions here: http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=740

yea any lithium batteries will cause servo glitch because the servo isnt used to getting that much voltage so it does that ands its very annoying
