Hello!

I jumped my mini monster down some stairs and managed to break the servo wire.. When trying to resolder it i used a little too mux flux and melted part of the board.. needless to say it is shot now. Any replacement boards out there i could use? I really don't want to scrap this truck. Of course there are always pipe dreams of grabbing some scrap aluminum and making a nitro or brushless version =o) But for now do any of you know if the iwaver or xmods boards will work in there? or even if an electrifly esc and micro RX would work? Just curious what others have done before i dive in =o)

Thanks!!

There is no resoldering anything. It's a replacement of everything electrical. You'll have to unscrew some stuff but it's a no brainer.

Look's like it is out of stock right now, but the Overland set is the one you need. And yrs it comes with the servo motor and pot prewired to the board. I picked mine up some time back when tower was clearing out there Kyosho stuff. The one in my "recycler" monster set me back only $74 from there. I did get lucky and grabbed it at that time. The Kyosho PCB sets are not cheap, but they are worth the money. You may get the Iwaver board to work, but it is a step down to me. The Iwaver boards may have better fets, but the Kyosho boards I think have a better steering layout for better control.
