A movie from a race weekend last year, some very good drivers was there to battle it out. for example:

Fredrik Mathiesen
Ola Westholm
Magnus Amilon

etc..etc... Amilon was in the a-main at the 1:8 buggy worlds last year, so he's pretty good ;)

The track is located at Karlskrona.

All cars have Atomic AR30, kyosho bodies and stock electronics.
No turbo, No fets, No Lexan.

It's 4mm thin rubber, sold in rolls.
Pretty much all the tracks in scandinavia uses it, it has been talked about in some threads before.
Great grip, doesn't collect dust, doesn't need much maintance. And really good looks!

Different tracks in sweden that uses it:

Nice track. I was wondering why those cars look so dialed. They were using foam tires. Did you see that mountain of foam they made next to that hudy tire truer ???

I like that they run FOAM tires on a RUBBER track and we run RUBBER tires on a FOAM track. :)

Those are some fast lap times givin the size of the layout. How did you get the blue and black rails? Are they the grey rails that have been dyed those colors? If so what kind of dye did you use?

i don't know how they got the rails black and blue.. i thought that was standard lol :p I've hadn't seen a RCP track in real life before i got to the race...

there's a very short video of me running in a training round here:

How do you compare the grip on RCP compared to the other regupol tracks that are around in Sweden?

How do you compare the grip on RCP compared to the other regupol tracks that are around in Sweden?

Regupol rubber gives more traction, The car seems quicker in response and more agile on Regupol. It also feels like the setup on Regupol makes the car shift weight from side to side faster.

When we ran our Regupol setup on RCP the car understeered quite alot. But with Soft instead of Hard GRP front tyres and "race rear" instead of "super rear" rear tyres the car got some of the lost grip back. I also ran my front tyres bigger then what i normally do on Regupol. (Regupol acctually works best with 21.2mm-21.7mm diamater front tyres - run them 22.5mm and the car will most likely traction roll).

Race rears are softer then super rears, if anyone remembers the foam tyres made for rain - thats the stuff race rears seems to be made of. Super rears seems to be 20-25sh.

We also used green springs instead of yellows and soft h-bar instead of medium.

And oh - u can NOT break traction with AWD on Drift tyres on a good Regupol track that has been cleaned and prepped. The AWD drifter just understeers into the corners. That's how good the grip can get.
