Definately can't make this, I will be working until 8 near the Mall of Georgia. There is no emoticon to express my feelings right now... :(

I wish I had somewhere to actually take my Z out and get a feel for her before I show up next sunday.

Could you get here around 9:00. I'm sure it'll be a late night... probably 11:00 to 12:00 at the latest. Of course if you have to work the next day, it might be too late for you. You could at least check out our setup, try out the track, see what tires work for you, etc... LMK.

I saw your car collection on your website! Impressive! I like your TT... looks nice! And a nice choice of color, Audi Imola Yellow (or close to it), same color as my real life car, a 20th Anniversay GTI (VW used the Audi color).

Hope to see you soon!

I can make it to the Wednesday race. I will plan to come down if there will be others there as well. If no one can make it I will just plan on racing Sunday.

Patrick - Who has said they would be there Wednesday?

Ok then, if you guys plan to be there for a while, I will try to make it. It will be a haul from up North in Buford, but I'll get there. I still have your address so I'll just come over straight from work.

How are the seams in the RCP track you have? Are they noticable at all?

Also, I looked around and didn't see any mention, what are the rules about tires? I have never run on, let alone even seen in person, a RCP track. Do you guys allow foam tires, or do they even hook up on RCP? I thought I had lost ALL my mini-z tires, my gpm treads, my foams, my slicks, my wides, etc... but I just found them about 10 minutes ago. Hopefully I will have something that will work ok.

No rules on tires. Anything is legal. Never tried foams, just been using rubber.

Seams are pretty smooth. Some are bumpier than others.

Russ - Yeah, no rules on tires. Soft rubber for the rear tires and slightly harder for the front seams to work well. My track is not an RCP. It is similar to the RCP, but I custom built it. The seams are hardly noticable. I've never noticed them during a race.

Shaun - So far it looks like me, Marvin, possibly Marvin's friends, Russ, Andy is going to try, and you. That's all the feedback I've gotten so far. I might be good for you to show up if Marvin and Russ come. They may benefit from both of us being here to help them "come up speed" (so to speak).

Marvin - Let me know if you think your friends will come. I still have a couple of cars to loan out if anyone needs one. They could join in the race even if they are late. I look forward to seeing you again.

Sounds good. Keep me updated on the expected turnout. Just don't want to come all that way and not have any racers. So far it sounds like a good turnout. Should be fun.

I'll plan to be there around 5:00 PM.

Glad to hear that. I have an extra Mini-Z for one of them to use. If they're not too late, we can add them into the race. If they are too late, we'll set up another small race later on.

Look forward to seeing you guys!

Just to verify, I will be there. I brought all my gear with me. If I'm too late, that's cool, don't wait up. I just wouldn't mind taking a few laps around the track to get a feel for the ol' Z again and watching the goings-on of race night.

<-- is excited :)
