Anyone going to buy this car when it comes out? I'm thinking about it. :)
Sorry for the blurry pictures, but it shows you the inside layout of the car.

It looks top heavy beacuse the coponents are in an "exploded view".
Each part is sepparated by little posts and fixtures that hole all the
parts away from the chassis to show case the features. It is common
for viewing booths to do this in the Automotive world from time to time.
The last pic is the most accurate view of the model's proportions.
I cant wait to get some of these for my basement Epoch sized track!!!

These photos seem to show that this chassis should be easier to tune/work on compared to an Epoch Indoor Racer. It looks as if the suspension, motor and battery will be much easier to get to. Combine that with 3 pinion gear options and this might take 1/40 ish scale to the next level. I can hardly wait for more info on these. I love this size for indoor/in home racing.

Wow thats small.

Not so from what I saw at RCX stock the Epoch gets the edge on handling and definitely ease of suspension adjustment. With a Spec-2 you just unscrew the bottom suspension access panel for quick and easy front suspension access, this is like a Mini-Z where you have to remove the C-clips then carefully pull up down the king pins. As for the rear there is no comparison since the Epoch has an adjustable rear suspension tuned with a single screw and the option of stiffer springs while the LIT is again a Mini-Z where your only option is to replace the suspension plate then try to dampen it with something. As for modding mostly because of the sealed battery and how it installs battery mods are still require chassis modification.
The improvements I see are in the wheels that look like they will have a ball bearing option, the Mini-Z type screws for motor changes without soldering, and maybe the circuit board computer interface (have to wait and see about that one so far it’s just claims made on paper) other than those it looks very much like a tall Epoch.

kinda interesting... anybody know what scale it is? is it anything like the epoch's 1/48's
would kinda be interesting to see how the two perform against each other... thanks for any reply... :D

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe they are 1/28 scale models of very small European and Japanese cars... making them about 1/32 scale.

Specs listed here are from the kyosho 2006 Summer flyer/catalog. (http://mini-zracer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21571&page=2) I’s pretty much the same length and width as the Epoch only the wheels are taller and it sits a bit higher. Would call it a true 1/32 scale for the Daihatsu and Fiat bodies.

hmmm looking at the tech specs from other thread c/o lbrc...

•Installed with high performance FM frequency BET band R/C system.
•Charge for 15 minutes to produce about 10 minutes of run time.
•6 x AA-size batteries (sold separately) for the battery charger produce about 30 charge cycles.
•Built-in electronic speed controller produces power output equivalent to the MINI-Z.
•Onboard I.C.S. can be connected to a PC for setting adjustments (requires optional software).
•Equipped with servo saver as standard.
•Newly developed two-piece wheels protect the wheel nuts, which can be easily removed or Installed.

•Painted plastic body complete with all markings
•Installed R/C system with wheel-type transmitter
•4.8V-150mAh NiMH battery pack
•Quick charger with timer
•Pinion Gear (61; 7T. 8T) *Wheel Wrench
•8 x AA-size batteries for transmitter and 6 x AA-size batteries for charger are sold separately.
pretty cool... my comments...
body...
they should've thought of a much better looking body...
batts...
4.8V-150mAh NiMH battery pack... hmm no li-po/li-ion... they could've also thought of a much higher capacity battery... i wish they should've included or integrated a quick charger to charge the battery pack...
overall...
it looks kinda promising... offering "high performance FM frequency BET band R/C system... Built-in electronic speed controller produces power output equivalent to the MINI-Z..." definitely better electronics (i guess it would eventually shift to fm) and with the power output equivalent to the mini-z, while pushing an approximate weight of 100g (3.53 oz)... this thing will indeed go fast...
now if they can have one in the market so we can test them... :D

Yes, they are still 1/28th scale. The real versions of these cars are quite small. If you put a Copen next to a Skyline in real life, then put a Copen next to a Skyline Mini-Z, you will see that they are pretty close in size (mini-z to mini-z, real car to real car).
The real Copen has a wheelbase of 2230mm, devide that by 28 you get 79mm, according to Kyosho the wheel base is "approximately 100mm". So, I rest my case. Those numbers are spitting close to each other.

Haha, that one's Haruhari Suzimiya (The Melancholy of Haruhari Suzimiya....a surprisingly good anime). And you'd defnitiely like the boobies in the full-sized picture. :D
@Briankstan - Wow, it's definitely a great looking body...but I'm concerned it'd be difficult to spot of RCP. If you've raced this one, how's the sight?

I don't plan on racing this body. the pictures don't do it justice because they don't show the chrome parts. this body is chromed like the G'zox NSX body and won't work with the Core Timing system because of the chrome finish. It's a beautiful body. it should be easy to see with the bright orange colors on it.

They are currently only available in Japan, I think they will hit the states in the next month or 2. I got mine off ebay. shipping wasn't expensive, but the wait was long. (1 month).
There is an autoscale on ebay right now item # 270012481949. although I have seen them cheaper.
I got the RTR as I wanted the chassis with the upgraded fets. :D
