I had to grind on the bottom of the housing to make it fit between the pinion gear and the can. but it works fine now. maybe I didnt get the right one?

I take it you are pulling xmod gen 1 pinions off? Its always a tight fit, but it does fit in there... It sounds like you got the right one. Is it a GWS micro? or GWS regular. Both work because the shafts overlap in size. I think you need to use the 1.8 mm pusher rod.

not sure wich one it is but the pinion gear is so close to the can it wouldnt fit but it fits now and works great. :D

Yeah sometimes that happens when people push them on too far. Remember to insert the shaft into the pinion Bevel edge toward the motor.
