wow, really cool.

Do you have a good resource for how I could learn to fade the paint like on your Mclarens?

Thanks

nice work.

Are you using a screen to create the checkerboard pattern?

I've seen a screen used to create a Carbon Fiber affect. It makes a nice affect with different colors also...

Thank's for all your compliment.

To make the carbon fiber effect i have just used a grid.
Next week, i will post more pictures.

On the Mclaren, you have threecolors. They look blended together. It looks like an airbrush.

I've never done anythign like that. I went to the hoby store looking for books on how to airbrush models, but all I could find were books on painting lexan from the inside out.

Hello rharris! :)

Effectively i have painted my maclaren bodies with an ordinary airbrush.

Like this one:

At first i have paint the two main colors (red and green) than i have masked the bottom of my body.Than I have paint in white, and after in yellow the border of the maske, in this way is the yellow more expensive-looking

Result:

After the paint job, i have apply a varnish.

If you have any more question... ;)

You should offer those for sale, or service for other Mini-Z enthusiast. Would like to see the Fiat 500 body for the Lit done up.

Hy marc,

I want just say that I can paint Mini-z bodies or something else for everybody.
But at the moment, I doesn't have much time to paint.
The playboy body was for a friend.
