Maybe we might get him to do a another batch if we make up a group buy I could go for 10 more myself with you thatís 20-30 and im sure a few others might be game for this I donít know would 50 be enough to make it worth his trouble
I could put up the front money
List how many people are serious about getting some if we can get a group buy of 50 or more. Iíll try to get it thru maybe he might do a few more.

Brian I might take 5 off you if you really want to sell

i would be willing to pick up another dozen. one thing i've found is you must have extras. these do go bad for whatever reason and you had better have a backup unless you want to move one from antoher car and rewrite data

I would buy 15-25. What is going to happen when KYOSHO puts out
the new system will they keep the same transponders?

Have you had many go bad? I haven't had any problems with them at all.

i've had atleast 6 go bad. but hten again i've bought and dispensed abtou 4 dozen so that's a small percentage.

bending them to extreme, having the little chip in them crunched will damage them.

to be frank, no one knows what will happen with our core systems once kyosho releases thier version. they could be a direct crossover or they could invalidate our entirely. we just won't know anything until kyosho comes forward with more information as core will not say anything due to his contractual obligations likley.

I'm waiting to hear back from him.

I have 20 extra right now and could use the extra money for chrismas. it's a bit to be sitting on, and we haven't picked up any new members in awhile.

Everyone in our clube has one for each car, looking at around 40 or more for everyone and haven't had any go bad. I don't see me using these anytime soon, so why not let someone that can use them buy them.

they are brand new and have just been sitting in my box since July.

Brian,

Thanks for sending me the transponders. They came as expected, however I noticed that they did not have core written on them. Is this an older version?

Has anyone figured out a way to get more transponders?

half of the last batch the I ordered from Core didn't have the core branding on them. They still work the same. I think it was an additional cost for core ot have the logo printed on them., but not sure.

these are the standard size. the mediums. the tiny f1 transponders are much harder to get, not sure why. you can try emailing any of the dc guys to see if they wish to sell thiers since the dc core will not read them.

The core tags are actually RFID tags. If you know a good industrial electrical distributor, you should be able to order some. If there is still an interest, I can check with my local distributor.

I think these are the tags. I noticed that there is a Ti symbol in the transponders.

or you could just buy the Core Analog units here at the shop. http://shop.tinyrc.com/product.php?productid=17353&cat=283&page=1

Z 408, you got it. Basically any manufacurer that makes the tags in the proper freguency. TI is one of the larger manufacturers.

Ninja, if the shop has them and can get them for you go for it. I was just offering another option. The shop could even use this option. I'm all for someone making an honest dollar.

Just one tip: These tags do not transmit through metal. If you have one of those cool metallic painted bodies, the tag will not work.

this is a big 'if' but 'if' one were to order tags from a manufacturer, how would you go about ensuring you order the correct ones and is there any else involved? do you have to program the transponders?

Goosebag

I think the Core tags have an encrypted passcode that only allows the tags directly from Core to work with the system. I'm not positive about it, but I'm pretty sure I read it on here someplace...

I put in a ticket a little while back to ask for them...I was just concerned that they were hard to find since I put my request in for them over a month ago. Could there be problems in the future in trying to get these?

They s/b on their way, I don't have tracking info from Core - they were apparently held up because they are out of the small tags that we ordered - but, I believe that the regular and medium have already shipped so s/b here any day now. :)
