Tell you the truth, dont waste your money on the pulse, i would suggest a RC18T if your going into 1/18th

it may be a little bit more but it is ALOT better quality

I would suggest:

Rc18t factory team
hs-56 servo
reedy mini-max battery
battery/esc of your choice (i got a fantom mini-mod and esc, ill sell for 50$ shipped, great condition)
then a reciever and transmitter of your choice

Then you got a good enough truck to not need any upgrades for a while

Do you read RC Car Action? thats where i get my reviews from. I have also heard all good reviews

no, i go to www.rcuniverse.com

i got a rc18t with a mamba and tons more stuff
its pretty much maxed out, hits 50 mph with no Lipo

oh, RCA's reviews are not the most trusted, they lie and dont give the car enough time to show all its problems

i would go to rcu and try to get some info there

The Pro Pulse is made by Megatech. It is not as good as the RC18. If you get it online it is $100. I would not buy the Pro Pulse battery and charger at $30. The stock pack is of a saddlepack config. Made that way so you can use dual motors w the Propulse(marketing hype). Standard 6 cell packs(rc18) will fit in the Propulse a much better choice for power. Get yourself a decent peak quick charger and you will be happier. The truck itself is made from nylon components and is flexy and can take some punishment. It uses small toy grade screws and a strange steering set up.....

I was just going to say that same thing. I was looking at them last night, and for only $70 they look great. Plus you get a pretty bada$$ radio :D

Radio is very nice. I have two of these and two Mini Inferno STs, I love all of them. BTW - the total cost of ownership to me for an MI ST is less than my MZMs were since they don't break - like one diff and one wheel shaft and one rear hub over 8 months with two MI STs. Two of those broken parts were from a bike running one over. My MZMs cry if you look at them, I eventually gave them all away. Will be moving to Micro Ts in the near future for indoors.

What is really different from the Nano 2 and the Old Nano or MIST? Is the chassis layout the same and just better elecs and parts?

nano 2 has better plastic and the electronics are better.i took the gears out to grease them and they look good.i thought the teeth on the gears would be crapy but they did a great job on this car. What is really different from the Nano 2 and the Old Nano or MIST?
