I finished this one just before the DOW GTG but couldn't find space in my pit box fot it, so it stayed home. For more pics check out my gallery or my blog (http://128racing.blogspot.com).

I like it. I'm usually trying to not make red bodies, because there are so many of them, but I really like the red with the white coke swoosh....

great job.

I hope to have one of those painting stands here shortly.

Thanks, I just had to go with the red for the Coke decals, but I know what you mean. I want to doa Crovette sometime and I would like to dosomething other than red or yellow.

I actually picked up the painting stand as a total impulse purchase. I was getting some work done on my car and while I was waiting I went for a walk. I totally forgot that there was a new Hobbytown in the same shopping complex and decided to check it out. I was pleased to find that they stock Taiya paints and I saw the painting stand on the shelf. It was about $20, I thought for some reason it was a lot more so I decided to pick it up. It's pretty sweet.

Look's nice with that theme, I have not seen any updates on the "joker" project of yours. I just wanted to see my decals on there.

I put the decals on but I never clear coated it, so some of them came off during a short race. The first round didn't look so good anyway, I am going to put another set of joker decals on and clear coat it when I get a chance. I'll post some pics when I get it done.

By the way, the local drivers were pretty wowed by the decals.

This body is just BEAUTIFULL!!!

Can you put it on a chassis and take a pic of it please?

Do you know that I had exactly the same idea, but with a 350Z JGTC... :D Now I know it works perfect! The striping on the left side is cool too!!!

I had to cut the stripe just a little bit to make it fit just right. I was a little lazy with the first side and got a little better the second time.

I probably won't race it but I'll mount it on a chassis with some dish wheels and take some shots when I get a chance. I'll try to do it before the weekend.

Thanks for the complements guys!

That's a sweet body. Do you plan on doing any more of that body style?

Probably not. I happened to be looking for decals for oen other VDS body I was doing and found the Coke decals. After actually trying to drive a VDS I decided that I really don't like the body style for racing.

It's fun to do some bodies every once in a while but I have a slight preference for racing.
