I will be there. If someone has a new-in-box stock motor they are willing to sell, I will get that from you there, along with a transponder, and the AWD wheels from Hank.

Sounds great! I look forward to meeting you.

I just got 10 new transponders in today. I will have them there for sale. The shop may have some stock motors. I'm expecting Miguel to get in a bunch of Kyosho parts and some kits. I'll find out tomorrow and let you know. Otherwise I could loan you a stock motor or someone else may have one that they'd sell you.

Have you guys seen this? Very nice! VDS II Body (http://www.egrracing.com/mart/product_info.php?products_id=1245)

I wouldn't imagine that this new body fits the MA010 as it looks like it has a lower profile than the orig VDS body. It'll look nice on my 02 though!

Hobby Mart will not have any Kyosho products by our next race. Miguel is still trying to get setup with Kyosho.

I will be ordering my MA010 and possibly some parts later today from whereever I can find them on the internet. So if anyone (Jeff?) wants a MA010 by the next race, you should probably order it ASAP.

I have the stock motor out of my MA-010, I changed the caps around so I could put it in my 02. Can I run this motor in Stock class with my 02?

According to the Kyosho web site, the 010 has a 130 class motor. The HFAY rules say that the 130 class motor is the legal motor for stock class. Unless there is something about this motor that I am unaware of, you should be good to go!

So I take it you will be running both classes? I plan on getting my 010 before Saturday, so if all goes well, I'm in for the open class with all 4 wheels spinning this time (I ran my stock 02 in open class last time)!

See you soon!

nah, I plan to stay in the stock class with my 02. I got the AWD mainly for drifting, when I get some ball diffs in it I might race it. also one more question. What frequency is everyone running? Dont want to dip into someones signal during a race :D

here are the channels I have:
26.975 # 7------Tx=1, Rx=1
26.995 # 1------Tx=1, Rx=3
27.025 # 8------
27.045 # 2------
27.075 # 9------
27.095 # 3------
27.125 # 10-----Tx=1, Rx=1
27.145 # 4------Tx=1, Rx=2
27.175 # 11-----
27.195 # 5------Tx=0, Rx=1

I have been using Channel 1 for all my cars since that is the only ones I have enough of without swapping, but I can accomodate for racing if neccisary :D

I can't really give you a list of frequencies that people are using yet. I have not kept that info up to date in the lap counting system due to the fact that I have to program that into the profile for each racer for each tag that I loan out (another issue when loaning out tags). When everyone has their own tag, we will keep that information on file and accurate. We have just been sorting out frequencies as we race.

ok then, I have a few different choices, so I'm sure we can find one that doesnt interfere :D

[frequency is not a problem 3-4 guys all have channel kyosho blue six but a couple of us have the xmod crystals sets or spare so it has no been an issue.

We are going to Orlando for Snowbirds Feb 5. Until then I am trying to really focus on Touring. I'm going to run the Stock Touring Class(biggest class) with some serious competition. After we return from FL I plan to run some Z's!

I'll seeya guys tomorrow. I'll be running my bro's nsx body on my mr02 and the supra on the awd. The nsx keeps the wheels protected better. So hopefully, I won't be snagging the wall as much, and ripping my tires off :p

Oh, and ninja, don't forget those dead and working Iwaver pcb boards! :D

Well, sorry P, but I wont be coming down. They closed the shop I worked at yesterday, so I transferred to Chattanooga. I am in the middle of moving as we speak. If you want I could give them to Shaun in Dade County 1:10 racing tomorrow night and get them down that way.

Stock A-Main (5 min) (http://www.atlrcmotorsports.com/amrcr-results/2007%20Winter%20Season/012007-StockAMain.htm)

Open A-Main (7 min) (http://www.atlrcmotorsports.com/amrcr-results/2007%20Winter%20Season/012007-OpenAMain.htm)

We re-ran the Stock A-main at 7 minutes since we originally intended it to be 7 minutes. For some reason, the setting did not stick in the software. This one will not be counted but I thought that people would want to see it anyway.

Sorry to hear about your shop closing down. Hope the Chattanooga one works out well for you. You still going to try to make it down sometime? I know it's probably a lot longer of a trip now.

Fun stuff as usual! See you guys again in 2 weeks! Also, I'm looking to get an offroad 1/18 scale car. I saw Jeff after the race today at Hobby town and he has an RC18. Anyone else have experience with other 1/18 scale offroad vehicles?

Hank - If you decide to get a RC18T, let me know. I have one all hopped up with many extras. I would like to sell it all.

Hank I have a dirt track in my yard for my rc18b and losi minit. rc18 comes with a decent motor speed control and servo, The plastic outdrive wore out quick so the MIP ball diff is recommended. A few small adjustmensts make it much better then out of the box, raise the front inner ball stud. 2 shock orings over the servo saver. It think I changed the shock springs so it would jump level. The stock motor comes overgeared for anything but street runnign so a reccomend a smaller pinion to drop the motor heat. right now the dirt is mud so I am minizing till spring

for a track
The balck plastic landscape edging works great for track walls. I use land scape fabric pins to hold most spots in place and where the jumps are I use some aliminim channel staked into the ground to support the extra weight. cost ~$30 and some TLC
