Hello, I've raced r/c cars for close to 20 years, most recently 1/8 buggies and touring car. Really enjoy the Mini-z after seeing a few run at my local track. Got the bug and now have over a dozen bodies, 3 AWD's, MR015, MR-01 and Mini-z Monster and looking to pick up a F1. I also picked up a RCP Mini 96 with expansion kit along with the wide turns, chicane and 45 kits...what a blast! I'll post some pics soon!

welcome to the addiction.

you'll be suprized at how many of the bodies you will end up wanting.

I have 50+ and growing.

and they are a blast to drive. especially if you have an RCP track.

sounds like you are all set.

thanks for the comments. I'm a racer, so I needed the track otherwise it would be just a toy :D I sucked a few of my 1/8 and touring guys into picking up a few cars and now we can race without driving far! I'm really impressed how well they handle, very close to my Xray touring car.

I'm really impressed how well they handle.

I can't tell you how many times I've heard that statement.

if you have any questions about racing them. just ask. there might even be an established club in your area. Most people on this forum are happy to help out with setups and anything mini-z related.

simply do a search or ask your questions and they will get answered, in most cases pretty quickly as there are tons of active members.

it's so true about these being so addictive. I want to buy a bunch of auto scales but am doing my best to resist.

Welcome!

Have you checked out How Fast Are You Online Point Series (HFAY OLPS) (http://hfay.tinyrc.com)? It's a race series that allows you to race locally yet compare your results across the country (and some even international racers). We just started season 3.

The subforum on this site where we talk about HFAY OLPS is: http://www.mini-zracer.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=71

looks like you have most access to PN parts?

collecting bodies are addicting. in little over 4months i've gathered 24 bodies and 5 different chassis. :D unlike you I only have a ghetto wal-mart track.

I'm actually in Dallas, Texas and race at Mike's Hobby Shop and Indy R/C. Got a few of my 1/8 racing buddies to pick up some Mini-z's and I have a nice layout at my house with a RCP track....hope to get a few more local racers soon!
