I'm new to the whole rc world and I just got my first mini-z.
It's the ma-10 with black modena body. The body is scratched
and I already lost the headlight covers.
I am currently working on a body for "show". Another modena, white
body, that I have drilled out, filed, and sanded front vent grid, all side
vents, and back vents. I also re-molded the back bottom to kind of
resemble the actual car.
Sorry, I don't know how to post pictures.
Anyway, great forum with lots of knowledgable people.

Welcome,

the bodies are very durable, the do end up loosing some bits here and there, especially when racing them. they do last longer if you are racing on a RCP track. the foam surface is kinder on the body.

there are tons of info here on MZR, and the chances are good you might be able to find other racers in your area.

if you have some question feel free to do a search, and if you can't find what you are looking for. the people here are great at sharing what they have learned about pretty much anything. from painting, to racing setups.

Have fun and enjoy your Mini-Z

Thanks. I'm not much into racing just yet, just playing around the house and
parking lots. I'll post some pics of the modena body I'm working on, as soon as I figure out how.
I'm in Hawaii and I don't think there are that many mini-z racers here.
