8 Independent Charging Circuits

This is the charger I use for racing. It charges 8 cells independantly of each other. It charges AAA batteries at a rate of 700mA. That is just under a rate of 1C for Intellect 750mAh batteries which is at the high end of the recommended charge rate of .5C to 1C for maximum battery health and longevity. Not needing to program in the charge rate for each battery is a plus for me in the sometimes hectic race environment. It has a footprint of 7.5" X3.5" X1.75" I like the way the batteries snap into place and have used one for a few months without problems.

its a shame they did not make the lcd backlit like they did for the 9000

Yes it is. The pictures of the batteries charging progress are ok but the lettering describing the function in progress is very small, & dimly backlit as well making it difficult to read.
