I bought this entire collection from a former member here in these forums:

Aaron Nelson from Cedar City, UT
member name: Z Zaniac

I just barely got into Mini-Z's late last year when I purchased Aaron's F1 collection but never even took anything out of the box after he shipped it all to me. My interests have changed since then and I'm looking to sell it all. Since I'm so new to these Mini-Z's, I thought I'd include some of the emails I received from Aaron over the course of the sale with him since he goes into detail as to what's exactly included in the sale and how much it's all worth. I paid $500 for it all, I'm looking to get $380 shipped (obo) which I feel is MORE than fair.

Pics have been added, please email me if you need to see a picture of something specific or need other specific info. I will do my best to answer any questions you may have.

Here is what Aaron had to say....

Mike,

im just curious....im thinking of selling everything that's F1. (my boys hobbies are taking over, LOL) I have this Kyosho F1 collection, im thinking of selling it as one lump sum,or possibly I am also thinking about breaking it up into groups and auctioning it all off....

anyway my point is this.
I did a analysis of what I paid retail for all this stuff, it totaled over $1000
and I don't want to hassle with ebaying it all off, and if your interested I offer this to you to take it all...or parts that I have packaged together....
allot of it is excellent, or new, or barely used...some of it is modified for the better, and some is clearly raced, but it all would be a great deal for both of us if your interested... I can give you details if your interested...

let me know.... im not going to type it all out if your not...ya know what I mean....lol

1. a competition F1 that is better handling, faster, better taken care than anyone ive met. (retails over $400) I would let it go @ $250

or

2. a modified F1 very well equipped I use to practice with so when I drive the comp F1 it seems slow....haha...( how about $165)

or

3. a full race collection (ive spent over $1000 into it) maybe $500....

let me know thanks

Aaron

in short, i only have the two pcb's, 1 is modified with a 2x3 stack ( i did the soldering, so it is good)
i usually buy a new F1 before each event so the electronics are perfect.
so in other words I've gone though about 7 F1 ready sets, and after each event i usually sell it off...
i liked to build a new car with new hop-ups each time, and i usually lost half my investment doing that. but that's my angle of the hobby that i enjoy besides racing...
Im getting almost totally out of mini-z's so hence why im wanting to sell all my back up parts and such....
i can just lay everything out on the table and take pics, that would be easier than typing everything out....

on one note; i have not touched the comp F1 since the saltlakecity PN regional, and i would like to "not" touch it, so you can see where the shims go, and feel the diff & knuckles silk feel..also to see how the tweak must be set for the best performance....if you don't know about that stuff i can explain later....
btw, speaking of punch...one of the pcbs included in the sale has $35 dollars worth of upgraded fets, (not to mention the five hours it took me to install).....(which is another part of the hobby i like to do...though doing fets is hard on the eyes, if you know what i mean)

here is a list, I hope I got it all....

2 F1’s (one mod with fets)
(you have seen the comp F1 high $$$ list right?)
4 other bodies with wheels, tires, chassis, knuckles diffs etc…to make the display well…but if you didn’t notice there is a couple with motor holes demeled for performance reasons….
And one of the jordans has a front wing broke….I just screw it to the bumper and go…its fine that way…
3 new bumpers, 8 used
extra set of carbon plates
extra heat sink
the knuckles on each f1 are simple the best out there…
and also there is a new 0d knuckle set to use until you’re ready for the 1d race knuckles (on the F1s already)
9 spur gears some new, some barely used some slightly used, all are great and the retail $10 each (fyi)
2 extra sets of servo gears and holders
Many broken knuckles…some can be used, but once I started using ally ive never needed the stock ones again
4 extra sets of SS steel king pins (usual $10 each)(for Kyosho brand..)
spring sets front & rear, but suggest just using the ones on the f1s already
2 rear shocks , with oil & extra spring gauges, maybe you should use these for a awhile until you get good, once you get good with the f1, the Kyosho roll pitch comes in very handy!!!!
Alloy screws (blue), some extra titanium screws
Many many regular stock parts
2 speedy 05 motors, used at on event….(so very new)
do you want a stock motor instead to start with, until you’re used to the F1?
10 pair of new rear tires (theres $50+)
7 new pair of front tires (theres another $40+)
16 used tire sets, most are just fine for practicing
20 + tire sets in great condition, very good to practice with…
3 extra wheel sets…derlin & stock
a hand full of racing slicks (Kyosho brand) hard to find!!! I liked them for cold days…in the heat they seem to slide too much…but all the same very cool for display if you don’t like the way the handle…
and there is some misc stuff I will add…like a F1 body I test paint on to see what it will turn out like…stuff like that, you may or may not want to just throw away….
Some extra rear bearings (new0
Some pinions…( do what you can to get size 8 pinions, they simply are the only pinion to use for any rcp track layout…big or small !!!....

There is really over $1000 there….jump on it and save me the hassle of breaking it up into pieces to sell on ebay…

As I mentioned in my original top post, I will NOT part anything out or sell individually. This is a package deal. All or nothing. Sorry, I'm not trying to be rude but I clearly stated that in my post.

Not to mention $30 for a Jordan Honda body...???!! I may be new to Mini-Z F1's... but I know that old F1 bodies are hard to come by these days. I wish you the best of luck trying to find a nice Jordan Honda body for $30.

Thanks, if I had the $ I would have taken the deal on the spot. It is a very good deal, and I know that someone will be happy.

I know what you mean. I hate it when good deals pop up when you least expect it and you're in between paydays.

This is a really good deal IMO. Especially considering I'm offering it all for $120 less than what I paid for it all. And that wasn't even including shipping costs.

That Jordan would get at least $60.00. Very nice collection.

Thanks for backing up my statement about the value of the Jordan Honda body.

On a side note... I have a brand new in box Williams BMW F1 body that I'll be posting up maybe later tonight. If I remember correctly, the driver is Ralf, not Juan Pablo.

doesn't hurt to try. if it's new and un-opened I would pay $55-60, but not one that's opened.
