Has anyone tried this new motor? It is designed like a 1/10 scale motor with brushes and springs. I need a new mod motor and want to know how it stacks up against the Z2.

it seems as though this motor is a big improvement over the z2 both in terms of the longevity and the power/ rpms..... on @tomicmods they have the rpm data for both the z2 and the t2, along with the chili, and they are as follows:

t2:
* RPM @ 4.8V = 34,734 (1.5 Amp Draw)
* RPM @ 6V = 43,600 (1.8Amp Draw)
* RPM @ 8.4V = 59,240 (2.6 Amp Draw)

chili:
* RPM @ 4.8V = 43,000(1.4 Amp Draw)
* RPM @ 6V = 50,000 (2.3 Amp Draw)
"The Chili is the fastest of the evolution motors, and as far as we know the fastest on the planet!" exact quote from the @tomicmods site

the z2 must be out of stock because i cant find it, so i guess someone else can give you that info :)

Would this motor hold on for a 10min race without melting the chassis with a 2.3 amp draw at 6v?

probably has the potential to warp the plastic, but an alloy motor mount would be good to soak up heat from mod motors. if he is looking for a motor for his mod-class car, i doubt there is still a stock motoor mount on his car

What is the best stock motor out there right now using 3010 FETs?
I like the High-Standard 4v Stock motor from Performancexmods.com
The X-1 Super Speed mod-motor, as well from Performancexmods.com
On the Dyno or track they will outperform the T-2, Z-2 form Atomic and Speerdy05 & Macho mod from PN. Race run time and over heaing NOT a problem, these motors run smooth, fassst and cool as the win.
