I am looking for a list of bodies/autoscales that fit the MR-01 RM. What is the difference in body compatability compared to MR-015 or MR-02? We have a club member that would like to purchase a new body for his MR-01 and I don't know how to advise him.

any thing that fit the MR-015 and MR-010 should fit the MR-01. MR-02 is wider at the front wheel and the battery area so really narrow body will not fit it.

There is also a link in my signature to a body compatibility chart that EMU created a while ago. That should help you out.

About 90% of all bodies can fit the MR01 chassis. I think all RM and HM types would work with the right wheel offset. The MR02 bodies the front wheel openings may be a little tight for a 2.5mm offset wheel, A 1.5mm offset or widen the opening for the sweep effect. For the MM bodies you may have no choice, but to use an MR02 MM mount with a custom length plate. The Maclaren body is an example with the very short rear panel. The 300C, you may make do with a plate thats 4mm longer with the standard mount. With a few simple mods, and custom length plates the MR01 can run just about every body out there.

Thanks for all the quick responses guys. I have compatability charts by EMU and Ben Lee but they do not list MR-01's. I guess what I need to know is what is the difference between the MR-01 and the MR-015? Can I use the MR-015 chart for the MR-01 RM?

Yeah I'd think so. I'm not looking at the chart but the mr-015 is basically an updated mr-01.

some bodies in the rear is a little low for the MR01 RM motor pod. most bodies would be fine tho.

You can use a PN ML or Atomic 94mm MM motormount with the 01 H-plate in the shortest position to give you a 98mm MM chassis. This is my preferred MR01 setup. I have run the McLaren this way, and it is quite competetive.
