What are the best set of crystals to get for the MA-010.

I don't think it matters as long as no one else is on the same frequency?

Try and get real hobby grade ones instead of the xmud ones. Other than that, only frequency matters.

hrdrvr has a good point. I have had a few of the Xmod xtals crap out on me. I still have a set of the "off" channels (7-12) around for conflicts but I typically stick to other brands mostly.

you can get hobby grade am 27mhz crystals for about $10-$15 per set.....
I dont know what radio tx you are using but if you upgrade to a programmable computer radio Futaba 2pl or an Airtronics mxa you get crystals that work included......(those radios sell for about $70)

Yeah Racing crystals... they go anywhere from 26mhz up to 29mhz.

It's very rare to find someone else running one of the Outlaw frequencies. I've been running 27.660 for years now, and still have not had a frequency issue.

Also... I have seen crystals usually go bad after dropping them on a hard surface, and also had some go bad after a battery short (which fried the kids board too). Treat them with care... they'll last a long time.

*note* Outlaws do not work with Helios radios, or so I've been told.
