Well, I finally destroyed one of the rear wheels on my McLaren F1. Luckily, I had a Jordan F1 standing by, so I could continue racing. This I thought, is a swell excuse to get some bitchin' wheels for the McLaren...but I don't see any anywhere.
Are there sporty metal wheels available for the F1s?
I was sure I saw some somewhere...

The only ones I've seen are the "Z-Speed" wheels that are especially for the F1.

Mini-Z can get a set by special order for you throught the shop I'm sure.

Hope this helps you out.

Chezedog,

You are not alone!
I destroyed my Jordan rear wheel :)
I am ordering some Z-Speeds from a European website.
They are expensive, but they look so damned good!
I did order some Z-Speed CLK wheels from Mini-ZRacer.com shop.
The neat thing is, they come with foams fitted and the foams are available as a seperate part too.

Here's a pic:

sorry, I'm old.

I'm even older. "Bitchin'" was a popular adjective in the late 50s, early 60s.
Some of the characters in "American Graffiti" use it.

I say it just to be a wise-ass.

We stocked the Square F1 rims for a while but they didn't sell well. If people are interested let us know and we'll get some more in. They are by far the best looking, most realistic we've seen. The GPM alloys are nasty looking!

Mini-Z,

I like the Squares indeed.
However, any chance of getting me a price on the black ones for the Jordan?
The reason I ask is, it's a decision between the Squares for realism or the Z-Speeds for sheer looks.

Thanx

Kev71h,

Those wheels are Z-Speeds.
Mini-Z did a group buy a few weeks back, so I guessed you missed the boat. I only have Z-Speeds for my Mini-Z Racers, not my F1's (Yet)
I reckon the Squat are awesome. I will await Mini-Z's reply on the costing, as Z-Speeds are made in Germany and being in England, I can order them from Germany myself.

I prefer authenticity for the F1's, so the Squat suite me just fine, but my Jordan F1 has a broken rear rim and it's unusable right now. Out of sheer desperation, I'd buy the Z-Speeds.
My McLaren is still in the box :D It's waiting for a ball-diff and Mini-Z Racer.com motor.

i think it'd be cool to have a couple set's something like the zpeeds for performance and the square ones for scale realism.

Mondo, the Squares are $32/set. They're a bit pricey, but they are really detailed, and are actually quite a good deal compared to the Z-Speeds etc.

Why would you want square wheels? My F1 handles great with the stock round wheels :D

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Mini-Z,

$32 for a set of four I presume.
Do you have any in stock?

Rick: LOL!
