Hello Tim. Got a question for yea. How come the F1 AutoScales don't have a dumby chassis for theme? I noticed that their bodies are just placed in a box. It would be nice for us AutoScale collectors if Kyosho would release some dumby chassis for the F1's.

While we're talking about the lack of a dummy chassis for the F1.

Does Kyosho plan on offering the more affordable body only autoscales(minus dummy chassis) that they sell in Japan in the US?

not sure what soulstice asking.

Marc, If Kyosho were to add a dummy chassis under the F-1 autoscale, it would raise the price on bodys that are already stacked with a lot of royalty fees.

Ok, how about offering us a blank dumby chassis that we could purchase seperatly if we wanted too? Say offer it for the same price as the skeleton chassis? That way, it wouldn't raise the price of the F1 bodies, and we'd still be able to have a dumby chassis.

The dummy chassis could just be a "spare parts chassis" a naked F1, no electronics... it might work, since its existing products.

How many here would purchase a dumby chassis just for the sake of collecting F1 bodies? How many would purchase ready-made F1 AutoScales with their own dumby chassis and display cases even if the price was raised as Tim suggested? I can see the F1's being on a display case that has a base appearance of a race track turn with the red/white curb feelers on it.

a cheap dummy chassis would be worth while. i doubt many would pay an increased amount for it with an f1 autoscale however. they are already very expensive.

Makes perfect sense... the F1s are total eye-candy.

Just the body. Was wondering if there was a particular reason this wasn't being offered state side.

Soulstice, that is a good question, but what do those have to do with the F1? This thread ONLY is for F1's. Those look like part of the replacement parts list.

the f1 chassis are pretty fragile. a friend of mine broke his but unfortunately he couldnt afford another body so he just left his f1 in his closet. it would be nice there is a dummy body for the f1
