Are there any Bay Area Mini-Z racers on this forum going to come out and play? We have a very friendly place. Everyone there is very helpful. Come out and play.

I just wanted to clarify some details about the upcoming Fet Bowl. For the Open 28 class, there will be hand out motors for each round of the series. Racers that complete the series will keep the motors after the finals. For the Mini-van and F1 class there will be no handout motors. First round of the series is December 1st.

Only a few days left until we start the Fet Bowl. Anyone from the Forums going to make it?

I've been hoping you guys would run another series like this. I also like the twist with the hand-out motors for the open 28 class, no one is going to have an absolute advantage with people running the same motors. This series should be a good one, Ill be there :)

Sorry, not that many poeple running pan bodies around here. However, if you made the trip up, I will certainly make the exception.

Just put the new track layout up tonight. Tell me what you think.

Thanks, we stand on the right wall so that the straight is a back straight. The track is ran clockwise. It is the same size as the Kenon track.

When are you coming up?

Glad to hear you can make it to our series. You are a dedicated Mini-Z'er. Are you bring anyone else up with you? What classes will you be racing? We are also looking to start a Mini Cooper class. If enough people have them on Saturday we will race them also.

That's awesome Grant! Glad to hear you can make it... I'm new to this mini-z and didn't know that PN makes pan body. I bought a pan body (atomic)about 2 weeks ago. I like it alot especially the downforce that I get on the highspeed sweeper that we have. The only thing that I'm not liking on this pan body is when I get too close to the wall/divider. The bumper gets caught and throws the car to different direction... I guess I just need to learn to stay off the wall :)!

The motor is not HOT motor but it's not slow either... I'd say it's probably inbetween X-speed and Atomic Stock AWD motor. So, definitely a Fet'd car will benefit on this race.

Binh,
Can 3 cars makes a class? I know for the mini cooper we have;

Quag
Art
Floyd
You/Steven
and Me

I'm still debating on racing that F1 since I'm not really a fan of open wheel racing... maybe we can have another class... MINI COOPER would be awesome or any 90mm High Mount (HM) or 90mm AWD.

Thanks,
TJ

From the way your car was set-up, it seems to me that you guy's track down in Kennon have alot of traction... That's awesome! I can't wait to come down there and try my cars on that track.

Fet Bowl Round 3 was interesting. Stephen backed up his round 2 victory in round 3 convincingly with 3 wins in the triple. Stephen was also the only person in the 8's again with two trips. Steven had many problems this night and did not drive like his normal self. TJ put down the fastest 2WD time of 9.03. Since Fernando did not show up, I took home the F1 class. You better not miss round 4 Fernando. In the novice class Art won hands down. This time in the mini-van class we allowed mini-coopers to run, but the outcome was the same. TJ won again.

Hope to see everyone back out for round 4.
