Wow, that is crazy drifting on a lake. I thought about doing that with the Kyosho AWD but at an ice skating rink. Wouldn't that be much safer than a big lake like that? I hope that was very thick ice with no chance of cracking.

you're the second person to say something about the ice, i guess some people are scared of ice, too much news you watch! I've lived on the lake since 1995, you see how thick the cracks are, then you jump on it in shallow spots to be sure. I don't weigh more than 150 n e way. It is just barely thick enough, nearly 3 inches, plenty to hold me but not the go cart we bring out later in the season!

As long as you know the lake your playing on, then all should be good. Still, I think ice skating rink will work just as well and it can be anytime of the year.

maybe you can rent the rink. Would they have to zamboni after you're done?, lol

I doubt it, more likely do it after it's been zamboned.

glad you liked it! It's probably the most fun thing i've ever done with an R/C. Not only it wide open but perfect for drifting, easy on your car, and you can hit your R/C's absolute top speed, maybe you can rent a rink!, haha.
