Hi,

Has anyone using this combination noticed how close the motor mount gets to the exposed positive and negative battery wires on the chassis when the rears suspension is compressed ?

Do you use some electrical tape and simply tape over the exposed battery terminals or don't worry about it. I'm concerned that if the mount does touch the wires that the pcb might get damaged by shorting out.

Ummm I never noticed that but never used that mounton that chassis. I'd use some tape on that.

Thanks for your reply.

I think that particular mount isn't suited for use on the mr015, so I've promptly fitted it back to one of my mr02s rather than risk damaging the pcb.

You can apply a dab of silicone glue...that way, when you need to take apart the pcb, you can simply remove the glue. Or, use a rear mount (RM).

I have only used the Atomic vIII 94mm mount on MR015's, which doesnt get as close as the ML.

If you insulate the terminal, it shouldnt be an issue.
