Hello,

As a conclussion of a discussion with another member of this forum who is from Estonia and as the title said, we're thinking to gather in this topic the few forum members from East and Central Europe, to discuss our problems, our challanges and one day we might meet for a race.

I was thinking to countries like Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Rusia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, Ukraine, Moldova, Latvia, Estonia, Austria, Poland, Lithuania, Bosnia, Albania, Macedonia, Belarus.

As I know, in most of this countries the bigger scale rc models are more popular and not many people in this countries know the 1/28 rc models.

To start, I'll present my club, and you can see it HERE (http://www.mini-zracer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26684) is the link of our track and HERE (http://www.mini-zracer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26928) is the report of our first race.
Next weekend we'll start the National Championship with 10 races, and in February we'll organise and host the first race of the Hurda Challange Series.

It was hard to gather few people to look at this small machines, cause for most of them if it's not big...doesn't count. We have an advantage cause this winter we had a lot of snow and they couldn't go out with bigger models and we atracted few of " bigger guys ".
Also the fact that the hobby shops doesn't carry this type of models, contribute to the low popularity of 1/28 rc cars. Other than that, the 1/28 race scene it's invisibile but I guess, this will change soon. Already the people come to our track more and more and soon we'll have to find a bigger place.

So, if you people would like to share how is the 1/28 rc scene in your countries, may be would help the others to get over the difficulties.
I hope somebody will notice this topic, though it's very well hidden ;)
