I finally managed to put together some short clips of some mini-z drift action. Its not much, but mini-z's definitely can drift on RCP. Enjoy!

Footage from a short lunch session

Some 3-Way Tandem action

Thanks to Peter (ucdinh) and Cesar (cesarone) who were in the 3way action with me, that was captured by Tjay (TJ).

I've been using electrical tape with enzo offsets on my 350 body. Stock diff up front and ball diff rear.

Thanks! Hopefully more to come with a better camera and someone who knows how to edit videos... (since I cant) :p

I found it!

Looks cool man! Maybe you should ask BobaFet for a better camera. I think he has one...?

Is the white car an XMOD??

Very nice control guys. I've been having fun drifting my MRCG proto at home on the uber-slippery floor, but I don't think that setup will translate properly to RCP.

Do you really have to set-up a drift car? I thought all you need is an awd with electric tape.

For AWD, setup isn't necessary, but RWD is a completely different story. If you don't setup the car properly it's undriveable. Ok, maybe not "undriveable" if you're world-champion-caliber, but very difficult nonetheless. ;)

AWD's actually need some setup

This isn't an Xmod but a MA-010 with a custom made R34 with bodykit made and driven by Cesar.

I just made a phone call. And drifting is going to be added as an online racing option to the 3D RC Racing game, 1/28 scale. So soon you’ll be able to drift race your online friends online anytime.

Stephen, I just watched your lunch session video... the car seems faster than the one I took. Is it because of the angle?

Thanks for the clarificaton Stephen; it looks good. :)

I agree with you that AWD's do perform better with setup but it's also possible to work around almost any setup as long as you have AWD and slippery tires. So I should eat my words right about now.

Yes sir! It sort of looks like grip driving in the lunch video. To look like drifting its gotta be down low, but nothing beats being seeing mini-z drifting in person.

I think i'm going to check it out this weekend... how much do they charge for the track?

Hey Cesar! I think Binh will set-up another track for the drifters since you guys are populating the race track :D ! That'll be cool though, we'll have grip and drift track going at the same time. Hopefully we get enough drifter and grip racer tomorrow and see how it goes... Oh yeah, I got you one of those dummy chassis. I'll bring it tomorrow.

350Zhuang, $4/hour, $10/day, $40/month... guys correct me if I'm wrong.

huh isn't it too much for $40/month? even you pay $10/day for 30 days it won't cost you that much... lol

350Zhuang, it's $40/month not $400/month.

Those rates seem right, with a month pass theres a discount on parts and weekly races as well. I forgot the amount, but it beats nothing.

Drifters will be in full force tonight. We will either do drift and grip sessions or build two tracks.
