Hi, all.

Got my 2.4G ASF remote and car the other day, and just uploading a few pictures, comparing the new MR02LM vs original MR02.

Test driven the stock MR02LM on a large carpet track, with the new 2.4G remote, the car is certainly doesn't go very fast but should be a good starting point to new comer. The new remote is much lighter, using 4AAAs, and the pairing process is quick and rather painless.

I forth see when the new board comes out in March/April for AWD, it should be a strong competition to the original AD band board since it basically requires no antenna(less weight or balance issue, good look), and many low fitting shell should no longer be an issue for AWD car.

In terms of the MR02LM main chassis, from the exterior, it virtually looks the same as MR02, save the electronics board and cover. The rear chassis lower the motor and make it a little closer to the main chassis, which will lower the CG of the car considerably.

Anyway, enough babbling, onward with pictures :)

Great pics.

What is the weight of the chassis without batteries? I dont know what the weight of your batteries is...

How do you feel the dampening works compared to the aftermarket DDS you have on your MR02?

Thanks :D

The Fet set up is 2x1 (like ordinary 02) or 2x2 (like AD board)?

Fets are setup like the Ad-Band. 2 on top, 2 on bottom of the PCB.

Yessir, the 2.4 PCB uses 3010s.:D 2x2 3010s have proven to me to be a fast combination. I believe I read Yasuji using a 2x2 3010 AD PCB running an NML motor and keeping up with the Mod-class racers at his track. :D

I can't wait to get mine!!! For the 12 hour endurance race in Oberkirch, Germany I setup our car with a 2x2 3010. It's a great FET combo for open class. The guys were only running an Atomic AWD stock which is what we ran the year before.
