Ok, I currently have a 15min Duracell charger. I need a charger that not only discharges, etc, but also has a 30 min or less charge time..... please help me anyone. Thanks!!!!

Are you asking for recommendations or are you asking for someone to sell you something?

Either way, take a look at the MaHa chargers (C9000 Wizard One) or the LaCrosse Charger. They both discharge and you can set the charging rate on both of them.

I would recommend the MaHa because it has all the features you need and the customer service from the company is top notch if you ever have a problem. They have a few different chargers based on your charging needs and budget.

Something that charges in less than 30 minutes is going to take a toll on your cells in the long run.

Can you please explain charging rate? like what rate would be how long, etc? I just want to make sure I make an informed decision. Thanks for your help.

Charging at 1 - 1.5 amps is usually plenty for AAA cells, charge time is decided by the battery's capacity (mah rating). I think the Maha can charge at 1.5 amps, the Lacrosse I have only charges at 1 amp. The Maha they are talking about seems to be an excellent investment, and it has all of the refresh cycle and discharge features built into it... I've heard pretty much nothing but good things about it.

I charge on those Duracell 30 minute chargers... and disharge with my cheesy turn-signal bulbs, cheap but fairly effective. :o Dangerous without a voltage cut-off though, you can drain the cells too much... this will kill batteries quickly.

But going along with Spoon here... to break your balls a bit:

Guys...................

I work from 5:00AM to 6:00PM at Johns Hopkins as a Surgical Specialist and I get like 3 minutes to run in my office and ask a question, run out, etc. I was in a bind and needed some info so I could make a decision. I apologize that I didn't search and do research. My job doesn't really allow me to do that when I am constantly worried about saving someone from certain death. Sorry.. rofl

But thanks for the help Ed. I appreciate it.

Thanks, if I wasn't having all the car trouble, I could have competed in more yesterday. Next month I will bring my F1, and we should have a blast.

Get the maha, charge at 1 amp. But for god's sake, man. Worry about the dying people first! Batteries later. :D

HAHAHAHA..... you made my night. I could just picture you saying that and the way it would sound as I am standing over a patient and looking at a battery instead of her flatlining in the backround!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHA
