View Full Version : Kyosho F1 cars for 2007 season?

A year premature, i know, but i'm starting to be concerned about the 2007 lineup. I know that typically releases are about 1 or 2 year behind of the current field. But i am worried since we've only seen the Ferrari 2006 car released and no Mclaren in sight! If they're only producing Ferrari f1 cars i am going to be sorely dissappointed because 2007 was one of the most exciting seasons ever. I would love to have Kimi and Massa's F2007 as well as Alonso and Hamilton's MP4/22.

So question do you guys think Kyosho will continue to release McLaren F1s? It was sad enough that they axed some of the other teams like Jordan, Toyota, and Williams. I would hate it if they only did Ferrari F1s.

I feel for you. I myself being an F1 fan, would like to see the 2007 season cars releases for Ferrari and Mclaren. I am assuming that the delay would have to do with licensing.

i dont understand why kyosho cant get the licensing in yime to keep up with the real cars. i mean slot cars already relesed 2008 mclaren.

I would have to assume it has to do with $$$.........Nice win for Ferrari today:)

Licensing is a bitter game. You would think that a company could acquire a license and then run with it. But all of the technicalities we are unaware of companies like Kyosho and Tamiya have to deal with all of the time. Who knows, maybe Ferrari doesn't want a scaled version of their current racer out in circulation?

Ferrari i'm not as concerned with since they released the 2006 Ferrari 248. I have a bad feeling that McLaren may be on the chopping block since they usually release the Ferrari F1 and the McLaren around the same time.

Its too bad no one has tried mass producing "blank" team bodies so that we can have some more variety.

2007 McLaren Mercedes!! Alonso and Hamilton!!

Now we need the WC F2007 car of Raikkonen/Massa and we're all set! C'mon big K, dont let us down!

I saw the silver arrows pictures at another thread and thought it was the 2006 car. I'm glad i was wrong!

I really hope that they come out with the 2007 Ferrari cars. I would love to get a replacement body for my old Mclaren MP4-17 #5.

i already see someone posting some of the silver arrows on ebay already. i know the seller is from HK but i wonder how he got them so fast as kyosho has a release date of Jun.

very pretty cars. the pictures here don't do them justice (no offense to those providing the pics of course!).

now i'm debating whether to just buy the body sets or the entire cars.

They are nice! I look forward to the 2009 cars myself. Back to basics! No more silly little pieces of plastic all over the body work. :)
