It's on like Donkey Kong. Sorry it took so long, but I never heard back from Sean. I called the shop and the nice lady who answered the phone checked their calendar and saw nothing listed, so we're in.

It's been a very busy week for me (repairs on two houses, big work load etc).

Don't worry about your tires, I haven't gotten any either. And we can't join HFAY untill the next season starts, so we have a few months to practice. I'm going to print out the various track layouts they use so we can practice them.

No noobs that I know of. Somebody sent me an email asking a bunch of questions but I never heard anything back. Jon M. got a bumble bee xmod so he might come by.

Oh, and we're having people over to play some rockband/guitarhero and such friday night if you're interested.

i may have a couple interested in playin. one is real good, and the other is married. for a fair check of skills, im gonna try to get enough xmods ready to go so a few can race the same in comparrison cars. stock if you may, but as said before, you will see i have a need for speed. fellas, my need is just a bit different, but the heart pounding rush is all the same. ive jumped off a tower and bungeed before, but let me tell you, when the racing is good, the same feeling comes. feel the speed, the need for speed. its all in your head. soon it will be visible. c-ya. at the hobbytown.

Good day on the track everybody. Took a lot less time to warm up this go round, practice must be paying off. Tentative date for the next set up is the 19th. I have plans for that evening, so I can probably come for the morning but have to leave early.

On my to do list:
Compile and print out the various HFAY lay outs
Acquire velcro sticker thingies for the transponders
Get a dry erase board for freq list

I'll try to get these done but with the way things have been going...

Yes, I want to time trial HFAY tracks.

Maya has a MA-010 on the way. I saw some great improvement today from her.

Nate, I appreciate your offer for the transmitter for Maya, but that will not be necessary. I will bring cash to pay for my part of the core next meet. Nice time trials today, core system worked great!

Jason, thanks a lot for hooking me up with a set of batteries so now I can split up the batteries so Maya can practice when I'm not around. Good lap times. Let me know about any particular track/setup you want to race.

Mike, since Maya got a MA-010, I'll see if i still have enough bearings for your car as wel. The XMOD bearings work for the MA-010, I think I have enough for two cars..not sure though. Had fun running some dukes of hazard stunts with you.

I hope we can see more racers out there soon, Justin came and went. It's a difficult thing to do. I'd like to talk about this next time we meet up. I have an idea for how we can get more racers.

Yeah, I am currently working on getting the 02 for Justin. I gave him the 015 to practice with at home. As for the bearings, its cool, i need to eventually get the full set for myself. Right now I am tapped because I just bought two Helios controllers.

you can copy my frequency list in the dc club forum and use it the same way we do. everyone on the same frequency for all cars...

i have graphed all 6 of the hfay tracks, and will be able to set them up, they are small tho, but i guess we got to deal with what they have set for us to do. i recently looked at the hfay site, and now understand alot more about this now. also we have way more track than hfay requires, seems all one needs is 2 Ls, these tracks will be easy to tame, so lets concentrate on the ones that present technical difficulties, and the others will be a breeze.

I found one in my pit box, Arch. I think it even has your name on it :p

I believe these are the right one. (http://www.bosesguns.com/product_p/jj4h-100.htm) My Google Foo is strong.

I'm not certain of the cambering, but I think .45 LC, .41 & .44 Magnum is the right size. They're a little shorter and wider than a AAA battery. I can make certain after I get home from work.

Sweet. If you're interested, this is the 98mm extension kit I used (http://www.rckenon.com/public_html/shop2/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=161_131_148&products_id=1860) (I'd link to the miniz racer shop, but they're out of stock). They have other colors too.

Hey thanks a lot, I think she wants to drive the 94 and 98 wheelbases again before she decides on that. So if you don't mind she'd like to try yours again next meetup.

I picked up velcro dots for the transponders. I also got some ribbon for battery pulls. I'll experiment with that when I get a chance. Hopefully we can shave some time off our battery changes and reduce the wear on our batteries at the same time.

hey i guess i forgot to look on the next page in here, i was missing quite a bit. i also found the bullet boxes. i found the same one nate showed me, and found a size that would fit aaa tighter, tho my thinking was to get 4 of them , the bigger sizemay be better for the club. i had problems with the website sending me a verfication email , so i hadnt orderded them.the red one was the one i think i saw.
