Hello everyone, I have just installed the small xcelorin of losi on a mini-z iwaver02M .... I differential aluminum standard and I made a pinion by 7. (For now I have no change report)
I 4 Ni-Mh cells from 1.2V, so the minimum ..... (All model weighs 150 grams)
The machine hard starting, but if you can is a splinter ....
I wanted to ask if the problem can be solved departure mounting lipo two cells with a total of 900ma to 7.4V.
Then I wanted to ask of info on the brake. I can not restrain both soft approach with normal engine that is not locked, do some mistakes? Will be the low voltage?

Thanks to all.

I am Italian ..... I am Italian ..... Sorry my English ...... :(

Do you have a picture of the instaled esc and motor? Also how did you fit the pinion to the motor since the standard shaftsize is 2mm

After I do the photos, I turned and adjusted the pinion. ;)

Didyou run the combo already? Was it fast? Lots of wheelspin etc?

you could try http://babelfish.altavista.com It is a tool that translate from Italian into English and vice versa.

potreste provare http://babelfish.altavista.com che un attrezzo che traducono da italiano in inglese e viceversa. (WOW, I didn't knew I speak Italian so well:D;))

:D:D:D:D:DHe is much fast one but, like I said over, does not have the force in departure... When the model is raised, the wheels turn endured.

What pinion are you using? try a smaller pinion

like mr.unlimited said try a 6 tooth pinion like these:
http://www.atomicmods.com/Products/Kyosho-MZW24-Mini-Z-SP-Pinion-Gear-Set-(Delrin)__10415.aspx

also increasing the voltage would help rough start (cogging), the higher the voltage the less amperage needed....

From what my understanding is Torakichi has installed a Team losi ESC and motor with Lipo cell on iwaver 02M chassis.
Which seems very amazing to fit such a different electronics and motor into the chassis.
I love to know more infor about this, since this would be very interesting to know how it works.
