Its probably been done just wanted to know if anyone has already converted their overland to a 2.4 ghz and if they could share some insight before I get underway with mine, would be helpful. also if anyone has done an AD conversion to an OL as well. I am going through and converting all my cars to 2.4ghz, and getting it all out of the way. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure its been done yet. I think the only problem you'll run into is getting all the servo wires into the front casing.

Nic-Z, a few questions to ask.
are u using a mr02 2.4 PCB or AWD 2.4 PCB?
do u have to extend the wires or are they already long enough
and also, did u have to cut open the OL PCB cover ?

thanks, coz i am planning to fit an AWD 2.4 board into one of my OLs. ;)

btw, i have those lego tires on your hummer too~ they fit well on mr02 wide rims, don't they?

davis,
I used a 2.4 02 board, you need to extend the servo motor wires and servo pentimeter as well. You don't need to alter the OL top cover. And yes the lego tires are a sweet fit.

THANKS !! i have an AWD board, but it's easy to covert it back to a 02 pcb.
the first thingi'll do is look for a body irst, overland bodies are hard to find in hk, coz no one is playing overlands here -__-
