Had not seen that any one else wrote about or got this yet. Received this a few days ago, comes with transmitter, RA-19 MA-010 board, paring stick, chassis board holder piece(whatever you want to call it) and MA-010 board cover. Alot of this is I'm sure the same as the MR-02 Kits. The board is much shorter then the AM or AD board with longer wires for everything(at least seemed like it)this makes it alot easier to install. All the wires are on top of the board too, I liked that better. The biggest cosmetic change is the board cover with no crystal stack or the block next to it. The cover is flat and smoke/gray transparent colored. The best steering I personally have ever seen in a AWD Mini-z, lock to lock. Have not really run it yet, will have to report on that later.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. I'm about to order one of just the boards myself from Japan since I'm not too into rewiring the existing 2.4 boards. Did you get yours overseas or from a US supplier?

I got it from overseas. rc*****z.com.

I too am waiting for the Helios Module, thought it might not be a bad idea to have the spare Radio.

I also got the ASF AWD X-Speed, don't know if there is a difference or not with the regular X-Speed. Unfortunatly, I won't be able to run it for a couple of weeks. Lack of a place to race is killing me.:(

I'm also interested in converting my orange AWD chassis into 2.4. I'd love to see somebody do a write up and picture show of the conversion. I was so impressed with the way my Porsche 962 handled, that it would be nice to have it on one of my AWD's. Obviously, too expensive to do it on all my car's. 11 in total!

I have my AWD converted to a 2.4, but I want the 2.4 upper cover that the conversion kit comes with. Do you guys know if Kyosho has a part number for this piece? Its just the plastic top with the mini z sticker on it, but its cut out for the 2.4 board.

its apparent that you will be able to hook this up with the pc connection, there was talk about add on modules through this port as well, though I think some of its speculation I haven't read up too much on its determined features, knowing kyosho it should be sweet though.

Jebroni- thanks for shipping that out, and I'm glad they have that ASF cover in that color matches my chassis and its on order. wooo hooo

Anyone have a review on this yet? I'm hoping the steering would be a lot better; equal steering left and right, and recentering properly after a turn.

Like I wrote in the 1st part of my review, turns lock to lock, left and right all the way and centers, what looks like perfectly. Very impressed with the steering.

Hello!

As Old crow said, the conversion kit works quite well.
No glitches, direct from right to left without any binding. Centers well and as you can custom your left and right steering separately, you have a perfect lock to lock steering without hearing a single "yelling" from the servo motor at lock.

The precision of the steering is the most impressive on these boards. And it stay available until the end of the pack!

Pierro.

Hey guy's. You can now buy the AWD conversion kit at a reasonable price of 100 dollars. This includes the PCB board and all necessary wires, and the AWD PCB cover. No transmitter's included in this kit which is a good thing for those of us who already have a billion of these thing's. LOL! Anyway, it's item number 250246330719 on the bay. Sound's like the cheapest way to convert your stock AWD into 2.4.

Got a chance to run my AWD ASF this weekend, very, very impressed. The steering was the best in a AWD I've ever used. The response was the most impressive, with steering and throttle control. I felt, and my friend who I let drive it, thought it to be noticeably faster response compared to AM. Also where we drive is notorious for glitching, no problems at all, crystal clear reception. The X-Speed AWD ASF was what you would expect, smooth and fast. Motor does get much warmer then I've experianced in the past. Run time seem to be about what I know it to be with the AM boards. Was using KT-18 radio, very light, and suprisingly, not a bad feel(did not think I would like using it at all), still can't wait for the KO ASF Module.

Good to hear, you won't be sorry. In my opinion, it's like a whole new car.
