errr according to this website...

ICHIROKU M, the new 1/16th scale drift car. It's been covered lately in
magazine articles and has been the talk of the town. The car was on display
for attendees to get a good close look.

A demonstration run was performed using the final pre-production chassis.
The car ran on concrete pavement and carpet, and there were many attendees asking when the
car will go on sale. The car is currently in the design-phase and should be
ready to ship by the end of the year.

Actually, this car is currently on sale in Japan. I saw them when I was visiting different shops in Tokyo a week ago.

Hi all, I have just bought one of these. I went for the Apex Mazda RX7 as the chrome wheels appealed more. They are available as Nissan S15, R34 & Z33 too!! Cost for the car? Well i have seen them for between 75 - 110. A word of caution though. You get a lovely static model for that. Then you need Tx, Rx, Steering servo (mini), battery(5 cell), charger(if you havn't already got 1) & ESC! Grand total for my set up (not inc. Charger) 180.00. So costs are on a par with 1/10th scale! However, it's 100 times cooler, you can run them in the house, they work on carpet as well as hard surfaces. Drifting is equal to 10th scale but takes a little getting used to. Stock motor is plenty powerfull enough and gets up to speed well. Works just as well in car parks too! So its a thumbs up from me. BTW they also do 1/26th scale too if ya want really small!!

wow. lol
ever notice that yokomo's Almost Ready to Drift packages abbreviate using normal (as in RTR, ARTR, ARF, RTF) abbreviation to ARTD? looks like it says "A retard"

anyways, yokomo is a bit expensive in my opinion, but wow, 1:16 drift rings... love to see some 1:28th drift rings...
