When you use the 2.4 module, can you still leave the normal helios antenna on so that you can switch back and forth with other modules (like ad band etc...). OR must you unsrew it? Thanks LARRY

I believe I read somewhere that the EX-10 antenna cannot be removed without going into the case............

I've seen people leave their antenna screwed in whilst using the 2.4 module.

I remove my EX-10 Helios Antenna for transportation. The EX-1 antenna needs to have the case opened to remove it.

Feels like a knurled nut slipping at the bottom, I think I'll stop trying to unscrew it...................;)

Thanks for the input! Sorry I hijacked your thread....

BTW, just fixed it, removed 6-8 screws and got the antenna out, re-crimped the antenna base, good as new.........

You can leave the antenna in the radio while using the 2.4GHz module. The 2.4GHz module does not use the regular antenna, so it doesn't hurt if you leave it in or remove it.

Ko Propo Staff, do you know if there are different antenna lengths available for the Helios?

Are there different versions of antennas for different mhz ranges?

And finally, if there are indeed different verions of antenna available, which version is best suite for use with the 27mhz AM module for mini-z?

All Helios antennas are the same length.

You have to set up the Tx for your car. All Tx's regardless of how it was sold is set to the factory default setting.
