View Full Version : Mini-Z Monster obstacle 'blueprints' & photo gallery

I know I'm about 2 minutes old on this forum, but I'd like to kickstart a call-out for blueprints (sketches) and photos of jumps and obstacles for Mini-Z Monsters!

Ultimately, it would be great to see pages of the coolest things that everyone has created, documented right here :)

I've begun sketching and building a few bits that I'll share on here shortly, but I was hoping we could put a collection together.

See, I have a vision of building the ultimate obstacle course - the Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory of Mini-Z Monster tracks in terms of scale and preposterousness! I'm sure many have done so before. If not, let's make it happen!

here are a few things that I have done, they work for the Mini-Z Monster, Overland and Racers actually. I used the old tiles from my DIY track to make the banked corners and bumps. I made bumps of several different sizes. I simply slide them under the track and I'm set to go.

Thats a quality track! Now if only we could get rcp over here for a decent price.

I can see that working for the Overland and Monster, but how do the racer's like it?

it's all about picking the right line, and speed. you can't take it full speed or the cars will not be on the track very long.

Cool, you could set it up like WRC style for the rally cars.

This is awesome. I'm going to post some of my sketches this weekend and first attempts. Cheers for embracing the idea. Should become a useful resource for all of us on the mission to build the ultimate tracks! :)

Ok, here's my first attempt at a 'blueprint' sketch - something pretty simple, but I gotta start somewhere! This is fun! Going to do some more over the weekend, then maybe try to build one at some point. Be cool if anyone else fancies building them too :)
