What motor mount are you using with this setup?
I am trying to figure out what is need for a 96mm setup with the reflex side damper?

From what I can tell, the 98mm setting needs to be used right now for the reflex damper tube suspension with the PN 98mm FMv3 or 4. I think Reflex are working on using the PN 94mm LCG mount to work with the damper tube.

If you figure anything out on your own, please share :D

I can hack up parts with the best of them. I could make a 94mm side damper by raising up the mount and shock like our current setup. With the atomic 2.6? spacer. Add 2 screws to the arm on the motor mount to mount a triangle peice of carbon fiber to offset the ball back. With this setup the top ball will be on the left and the bottom ball will be on the right. It would not work with every body but should work with the lexus sc430.

I am just trying to read betweeen the lines. The damper is the best thing since sliced bread and all of a sudden everyone is trying 96mm.

So far, we've just been using disk dampers with 96mm. The 94mm with side damper is very good, but we just haven't gotten around to running the 96mm with side damper yet. If we get time, we might try it out this weekend. We have no reason to think that a 96mm side damper system would be anything than awesome. We just slapped a disk damper on there for now just to get some solid wheeltime in with the 96mm.

At least my experience with 98mm and the side damper is extremely good. This setup is faster than 94MM with DDS. I cant wait to see what the 94 & 96mm setup with side damper will be like. I expect it to work even better.

We've been using the PN 94mm LCG mount. It's a little fragile, but we feel the handling benefits are worth it.

Our team driver Alberto tried a prototype 96mm side damper car and really liked it.

is it necessary to modify my DDS? I run a PN 94mm LCG pod and an Atomic 94mm damper plate and the damper post hits the back of the plate. This can't be good?

Are you running a top shock? If so, maybe you should lessen the preload. I am running 96 with an ATM 94mm plate and ATM V3 94MM pod, no issues at all. I actually have plenty of room.

just started to play with this 96mm setup and was curious on what works best for the top damper? i currently have a PN multi-length an it appears to limit travel in one direction or another depending if you have it on the 94mm or 98mm settings? as far as motor mount i currently have my original PN ML mount.

We use the PN mount in 94mm config. It limits the rear pod droop and makes the car work better. If I use a top shock, it is the atomic shock, otherwise I just use the Rm triangle H plate mount to prevent the pod from sagging too much...
