2.4ghz is a stock board. You mean, compared to AM...

Pros:
It has a faster transmission, auto-select frequency (no crystals needed), twice the amount of fets, digital servo/3 wire pot (centers better, more torque and precision), adjustable settings with ICS port, more compact design, better brake control...

Cons:
reverse has a .2s delay, in order to give the pilot more control of the brake.

Another Con:

ASF transmitter is more expensive, about $80.

But is it worth it? I'd say YES! I'm in the process of switching all my AM cars over to 2.4 Ghz, 6 in total.

More Pros:

No glitching, faster response, better steering, etc, etc, etc

Used kt18s go from 40-50.

Be a shame to have a nice board and not be
able to fiddle with it with a nice tx.

Is it worth the money? Depending on your use
and budget, I'd say yes.

all depends... what you want to do... am versions (modified) can be very competetive... bill crotty won the pn las vegas mini-z f1 division using the stock am frequency against others using 2.4ghz versions...

i suggest trying each one out if you have the chance and see which one you like...

its definately worth the money, biggest reason is the presicion in the steering, also like the throttle control, and i now after a long time testing, i really starts to like the radio too :)

its a bit pricey but well spent money
