View Full Version : I want one thing Kyosho, a no brainer...

...a Lamborhini Gallardo body! It could be one of the coolest cars ever, certainly the most sculpted and modern body. It comes in all different versions like its original design, LP560-4(looks like a fighter jet), plenty of race bodies w/spoilers(my preference). So there's just one thing I want Kyosho, and no doubt many many others, a Gallardo! You can't go wrong!

In case you don't know what this car is, cause if you did you would have made it already, here's a little video of one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbdZSLmfsXg

Good body for drift cars too:

Look how sick this thing is, anyone else want one?(2nd car behind SC)

Tim, is there any plan to put out an almost ready to run set in something other than the current LM cars? Say a 2.4 chassis with the new Mclaren or Aston or GTR. Even with one of the older bodies. It is a pretty good deal considering the cost of just the chassis alone compared to one with a body.

Thanks

I'll second more body selection for 2.4 chassis and wheel offset kit for 02/15 just like the AWD. As far as another semi-super car, I'll beg to differ- I'd like to see more regular tuners released. We hardly have ANY front wheel drive cars like plenty of hondas and toyotas over the past 10 years. Since alot of AWD bodies were packed as 02/15s, I don't see a problem with some FWD cars for variety.

^who want to put a FWD econobox on a 1/28 race car? not many
who wants a fwd body on a rwd or awd platform, are you nuts? not many
who wants another lambo and a stunner of an AWD body? tons, thousands

i must admit i made my ma010 front wheel drive once because the rear diff was trash. you need to realize when you ask for stuff it has to make kyosho $$$. lambos sell like crazy, french fwd economy cars souped up with fart cannons don't. also there is a serious shortage of AWD race bodies, as in cars that are really awd. Hello, a Gallardo is a 10 cylinder AWD mid mount super hot super car, nothing out there is as modern, as forward as it. It's also definately a 94mm body, perfect for AWD.

for icing on the cake, it was the best police chase car in need for speed and tons of fun to drift in car sims

If they make an Integra or an Eclipse, they shouldn't loose too much money man. Making AWD a FWD, I personally would to be different. It may prove more interesting than people assume it to be.

Look at Vitz, for example, and tell me that body didn't sell. But HM is far less welcome than R/MM and thats all I'm saying.

I think there should be a limited run of FWD chassis designed off of the AWD MA010 chassis. I am dying for a 1/28 scale RC of my Honda Insight. Limited run can be for us abnormal people who want FWD. They could even do a run of say 500 Honda Insight bodies for us even more rare people. "ME" who want an RC of their daily driver.
True, limited run chassis might be more expensive, but would be very cool.
There was a 1/28ish scale plastic toy car of the 2001 Honda Insight made from the Ultraman series. This toy was very limited production back in 01 and impossible to find these day's. If one could be found, I'd love to adapt it to AWD chassis. I'd convert the AWD to FWD and I'd narrow the rear track to keep the rear wheels inside the tear-drop shaped body that the Insight has.
Only problem is, FWD cars are not very competitive compared to AWD and RWD cars as they tend to have understeer. Only way to really enjoy FWD is if you have a FWD only class.
Back in my Xmod day's, when the Honda Civic Xmod first came out, I got their AWD conversion kit, and removed the rear drive. It made it much more realistic for the body type, but did not handle as well as the other two formats.

back to the original post, the gallardo is planned for the dnano so it stands to reason that it will be out for the mini-z. it's not gauranteed but there is a good chance.

Why wait until K releases the Gallardo AND Italian Police version in particular ;) You can adapt this slotcar body (http://www.autoartmodels.com/web/product/en/1303?antiCache=12516638306049D8AE589441EF2FB30F807 A8A83AC0C9), review (http://slotcarnews.blogspot.com/2007/09/autoart-124-lambo-polizia-review.html) It is 1/24 plastic and Autoart's have a very high finish, even better than ASCs, with metal photoetched grills, etc. Also because they are designed for slot car racing they are tough. I adapted the Bugatti Veyron (http://www.nanospeeders.com/mini6z/images/fovea3d/veyron.jpg) from the same line to a MR02 chassis.

If they want to do another Lambo, I'd like to see a Reventon

Yeah me too. There is a 1/24 Reventon Body. Looks pretty good to me. Saw it next to a bunch of xmods stuff but seemed rather wide for a Z. Mind you 3mm off sets could work. Don't have a clue where you get them though. All I know is that it's 1/24.

Since I own an eclipse I'd love to have one! 1995-1999, however, this wont happen because kyosho is a japanese company and the eclipse wasn't sold in japan.

If you're looking for a Japanese car to make a body of, look no further than the Mitsubishi GTO (3000GT to us in the US) Amazing styling, power, performance. Plus it was AWD! That's my vote. and I'd be willing to bet they'd sell. lots of people here had one, including myself, and love them!
